    Dear Alison

I am a dramatherapist now living in South Africa after having been in the UK for 15 years years. I am now working in impoverished communities offering dramatherapy to young people. I work for an organisation called Zakheni which means to ‘lift each other up’. The website is http://www.zakheni.org.za if you want to have a look. I am doing a play with a group in the township of Khyelitsha. The play is entirely devised by them and is called the Tree of Hearts! The drama facilitator that I am working with and I ,were looking at images on the web and came across your incredible image of the Tree of Hearts. We wonder if we could have your permission to use the image for the poster. The play is only run twice, once for their school and one at the Baxter theatre in Cape Town for an invited audience. At no time does anyone monetarily benefit from the plays. They are showcased purely for therapeutic purposes. If you need further information i would be happy to answer any of your questions.

    All the best

      Hello Sophia,

Thank you so much for you compliment, and you may use the image as it is for a fabulous cause. I would be grateful if you could somewhere credit my name as the artist. My name is Alice Mason, not Alison, 🙂

Very best wishes and good luck with the play.

      Alice
